On the sacred and auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the members of Berhampur Sabuja Bahini came forward with a noble initiative to serve people battling the intense summer heat. The team distributed refreshing buttermilk among pedestrians, workers, travelers, and local residents as a gesture of compassion and social responsibility.
This thoughtful act may seem small, but it reflects a powerful message of humanity, kindness, and collective care for society. During extreme temperatures, a simple glass of buttermilk provides not only refreshment but also much-needed relief and energy to the body. Such service activities remind us that festivals are not only about celebrations and rituals, but also about helping others and spreading happiness.
The initiative was led by Sibaram Panigrahi (President) along with dedicated members Ajaya Sahu, Ravi Sahani, Sohan Kumar, and many other active members and volunteers who enthusiastically participated in the service program. Their efforts were appreciated by the local community and inspired many others to contribute towards social welfare.
The event beautifully highlighted the spirit of unity, selfless service, and environmental awareness. By standing beside the people in difficult weather conditions, the team once again proved that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in society.
