Palm trees play a vital role in maintaining harmony between humans and elephants. They provide a natural and dependable food source for elephants, helping reduce conflict, while also offering protection to people during harsh summer lightning storms. Recognizing these valuable benefits, an interactive Elephant Day event was thoughtfully organized at Bikashpur Village with the presence and support of DFO officials. During this initiative, we also took a meaningful step by planting numerous palm seeds, marking the beginning of our collective effort toward conservation. The gathering brought the community together to raise awareness and strengthen our responsibility toward nature. Together, we can take a strong pledge to preserve them for a safer, more balanced, and harmonious coexistence.
