The session was led by the Brahmapur Sabuja Bahini team, who engaged students in meaningful discussions on pressing environmental issues such as climate change, ecological conservation, and the importance of maintaining a balanced ecosystem. Students gained valuable insights into urban plantation, urban forests, avenue plantation, and tree relocation, as well as the role of birds and animals in urban and semi-urban ecosystems. The team also shed light on the unique flora and fauna of the Ganjam district and shared their own journey and experiences in promoting environmental sustainability. This interactive session successfully raised awareness and encouraged students to actively contribute to building greener and more sustainable urban spaces.
The session also inspired participants to adopt environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives and become active advocates for nature conservation. Students appreciated the practical knowledge and real-life experiences shared by the Brahmapur Sabuja Bahini team, making the program both educational and motivating.
